CYLINDER HEAD SECTION STRUCTURE FOR OVERHEAD CAMSHAFT TYPE DIRECT INJECTION DIESEL ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sure sealing at an attachment part of an injector 4 without increasing the number of parts while improving serviceability by providing the injector 4 and an injector holder 5 to be exposed to outside of a cylinder head cover 1 in a cylinder head cover section structure of an overhead camshaft type direct injection diesel engine having the injector a vertically arranged on a cylinder head 2 and having a camshaft 6 provided on an upper surface of the cylinder head 2.;SOLUTION: An upper surface of the cylinder head 2 having a cam holder 3 supporting a camshaft 6 mounted thereon is covered by a cylinder head cover 1 and a groove part 32a of a cam holder main body part 32 is exposed to outside of the cover 1. The injector 4 arranged in the groove part 32a is pressed and fixed from upper part by the injector holder 5. A seal member 7 is put between a seal pressing surface 44 of the injector 4 and a seal receiving part 36a of the groove part 32a, and sealing pressure of the seal member 7 is applied by pressing force of the injector holder 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
