PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for can ends which can be manufactured by cold rolling without interposing a process annealing step between cold rolling steps after hot rolling and in which 0 to 180° earing is reduced at drawing and anisotropy is improved and also to provide its manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: The sheet is a hard aluminum alloy sheet having a composition which consists of 2.0 to 3.4% Mg, 0.20 to 0.50% Mn, 0.28 to 0.60% Fe, 0.04 to 0.20% Si and the balance Al with impurities and in which the total content of Fe and Mn is 0.6 to 1.0%. In this sheet, the area occupancy of Al-Fe-Mn crystals and that of Mg-Si crystals at sheet surface are made to 1.0 to 3.0% and 0.2%, respectively, and also 45° earing ratio and 0 to 180° earing ratio at drawing are made to 4.0%, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
