PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the weight reduction of scalability in an optical IP network.;SOLUTION: In a network having an originator node unit 200, a terminator node unit 300 and a plurality of relay node units 100 constituting an optical IP network and establishing a plurality of paths collectively based on a plurality of path establishment requests between the originator node unit 200 and the terminator node unit 300, a plurality of paths are established through an identical path by means of the relay node unit 100 for creating a plurality of path request information by collecting a plurality of collectable path establishment requests on the transmission side, or creating a plurality of path request information by associating a plurality of collectable path establishment requests to be collected later by identification information and receiving/relaying the plurality of path request information, and the originator node unit 200 receiving the plurality of path request information thus relayed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
