PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a cleaning method using a microorganism, by which a sufficiently satisfactory cleaning rate and economic efficiency are exhibited with respect to removal of a heavy metal from a low-concentration heavy metal contamination, especially a bioreactor for accumulating/recovering a heavy metal so as not to cause redispersion of the heavy metal and a secondary environmental pollution, and a cleaning method.;SOLUTION: The transformed microorganism for cleaning a sample contaminated with a minute amount of the heavy metal is a microorganism to which a gene encoding a synthetic protein of a heavy metal-binding inorganic polymer is transferred. In a preferable embodiment, the heavy metal-binding inorganic polymer is a polyphosphoric acid.
