PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability at setting of a network connection device, reduce setting mistake, and relieve a load of a user with respect to confirmation of a network interface and setting work of a network connection unit. SOLUTION: A MAC address of a network interface mounted on or built in a network connection unit is acquired (S401), a manufacturer or a model of the network interface is discriminated on the basis of the MAC address (S402, S403), and a network terminal sets the network connection unit-depending on the discriminated manufacturer or the model (S405, S406). Thus, the selection and start up of a device setting program used for confirming the manufacturer or model of the network interface, and setting can be facilitated.
