PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of personal information and to inform an authentication method adopted to give an electronic signature to determine the reliability of the electronic signature by biological authentication.;SOLUTION: After the collation of biological information, an IC card 13 uses a secret key to generate an electronic signature and generates an attribute certificate on the basis of the device information of a biological information reader 12. A preliminarily stored public key certificate is transferred to the biological information reader 12. A user terminal 11 adds the public key certificate and the attribute certificate to a document with the electronic signature and transmits them to an acceptance system 32. The acceptance system 32 performs the reception of the electronic document, confirmation of a format of the electronic document, certification of the electronic signature, confirmation of validity of a user's public key certificate, setting of acceptance condition information, management, and confirmation of a reception condition in accordance with the electronic signature, the public key certificate, and the attribute certificate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
