PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an originating source tracking information providing device which can offer necessary information when an originating source of communication packet is tracked, and an originating source tracking device which trackes the originating source on the basis of the information.;SOLUTION: The originating source tracking information providing device 10 comprises an input part 111 which takes in communication packets from a communication network; a tracking information creator 114 which creates a tracking information message which includes a device identification information which identifies the originating source tracking information providing device 10 and back link information, and is sent to a destination of the communication packet at a predetermined probability of a probability event generator 113; a tracking information adder 116 which creates a tracking information message further added front link information, when a tracking information message detector 112 detects the tracking information message from the communication network, and a router device passage detector 115 detects the passage of the router device, and a transmitter 117 which transmits the tracking information message to the communication network.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
