PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dip type pest-exterminating method by which a flying pest attached to a plant can precisely be exterminated by dipping the plant in an aqueous solution while preventing the pest from escaping.;SOLUTION: The method comprises preparing the aqueous solution into which the plant is dipped and which is used for exterminating the pest, so as to be in a state in which the plant is not damaged by the dipping, covering the whole plant having the flying pest, or the flying pest and an unflying pest attached thereto with a water-permeable cover through which the flying pest can not pass, dipping the plant covered with the water-permeable cover in the prepared aqueous solution for a time required for deadening the pest, pulling up the plant from the aqueous solution, and taking off the water-permeable cover therefrom to carry out the extermination of the pest.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
