PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console unit which can greatly contribute to the miniaturization of electronic equipment such as a diskarray device.;SOLUTION: The console unit 25 comprises a housing 35 for accommodating a circuit board 39. A console 45 rotatable around a predetermined vertical axis is coupled to the housing 35. The console 45 can have a secured sufficient size independently of the size of the board 39. In spite of the miniaturization of the board 39, the operability and visibility of the console 45 do not be impeded by the miniaturization. Upon the exchange of a part or a unit disposed next to the console unit 25 for another one, the console 45 can be retreated from the moving path of the exchange part or unit based on the rotation of the console.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
