ADHESION-TREATED POLYESTER FIBER CORD FOR REINFORCING RUBBER HOSE, AND RUBBER HOSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesion-treated polyester fiber cord for reinforcing a rubber hose, having excellent fatigue resistance and thermal expansion properties, and hardly causing thermal deformation at production of the rubber hose.;SOLUTION: The polyester fiber cord has an adhesive for rubber, attached to the surface of the polyester fiber. The twist count of the fiber cord is 0.5-25 turns/10 cm, and the cord has ≥5 cN/dtex strength, 10-20% elongation, ≤3% intermediate elongation at 2 cN/dtex load, 0.5-7% shrinkage in dry air at 150°C for 30 min, and 4-7% total of the intermediate elongation and the shrinkage in the dry air.
