PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the control method of data communication in accessing a heterogeneous network.;SOLUTION: A portable communication terminal 10 capable of making communication with an information terminal 20 in the heterogeneous network is provided with a plurality of radio communication sections in the portable communication terminal to separately make data communication in a service area of the heterogeneous network; a plurality of data communication control sections 11, 21 for controlling the data communication by respective unique control commands; a command conversion section 13 for inputting a control command unique to one of the plurality of data communication control sections, the control command being specified as a control command for controlling the portable control terminal, converting the inputted control command into an another unique control command among the data communication control sections, and using the converted control command as the other unique control command among the plurality of data communication control sections; and an mediating section 41 being periodically informed of radio reception intensity information, and enabling the communication of a radio communication section having performed notification of the information of largest radio reception intensity among the plurality of radio communication sections.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
