PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and long lasting 12V type tungsten halogen lamp with an infrared reflecting film by surely preventing such phenomenon that an arc tube is broken and the infrared reflecting film is peeled off when using it for a long period of time, while maintaining high lamp efficiency, and to provide a tungsten halogen lamp with a reflector/an infrared reflecting film, having better energy saving performance than a conventional product.;SOLUTION: Respective surfaces Sb and Se of the elliptical arc tube and the bulb sealing part 5 of the tungsten halogen lamp 1 with the infrared reflecting film are specified within the ranges of 450 mm²≤Sb≤650 mm², and Se≥-0.35Sb+520, to obtain a targeted tungsten halogen lamp with a reflector.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
