DIFFERENTIATION METHOD FOR SKIN CONDITION AND MONITORING METHOD USING THIS DIFFERENTIATION RESULT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for differentiation of a skin condition such as characteristics of wrinkles or dermal elasticity, structural order of a dermal collagen bundle, or the like so that everyone can easily perform the differentiation. PSOLUTION: The differentiation of the skin condition is that near infrared absorption spectra of more than two kinds of skin with different conditions are measured beforehand, multivariate analysis of the above near infrared absorption spectra and figure of merit of the skin characteristics is performed, and a near infrared absorption spectrum of the skin which is a testing sample is compared with the analysis result as an index to differentiate the skin condition of the testing sample. The skin thickness, a surface figure of the skin, viscoelasticity feature of the skin or inner tissue structure of the skin is suitable example for the skin characteristics, and a PLS analysis or a main ingredient analysis is a suitable example for the multivariate analysis.
