PURPOSE: To provide an oxygen breathing apparatus that does not have a complicated structure, can be simply operated, and does not require a skilled operator. ;CONSTITUTION: An oxygen breathing apparatus is provided with a nozzle 1 for releasing a supplied major gas to a mixing chamber 2 and the nozzle 1 is connected to a high-pressure source 12 of the major gas. One mixing port 3a leading to the mixing chamber is in communication with the atmosphere and the other mixing port 3b is in communication with an oxygen source. A constantly variable restricter 15 is arranged in an oxygen supply conduit situated upstream of the other port 3b. In dependent of the control of supply of the major gas, the restricter adjusts continuously the oxygen content of the gas mixture supplied to a patient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
