PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the contamination preventing device of a filter apparatus absolutely preventing the sludge, which contaminates a filter medium, from penetrating in a sterilization tank of a filter apparatus wherein a filter tank and the sterilization tank are integrated.;SOLUTION: A washing device 15 is provided in the lower part of the filter tank 2 and a drain tank 3 for discharging the sludge flooding over a filter medium 13 to the outside from drain trough 17 is provided. The height of the partition wall 11 adjacent to the drain tank is made same to that of the drain trough 17 and the height of the partition wall 12 adjacent to the sterilization tank 9 is set to a height dimension higher than that of the previous partition wall of the drain trough.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
