AUTHENTICITY DISCRIMINATABLE FORMED BODY

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that intaglio printing used mostly for printing securities or the like fitted with an optical variation element and intended for prevention of forgery has the possibility of damaging considerably a diffraction lattice of the optical variation element and impairing the function thereof. PSOLUTION: An authenticity discriminatable formed body has a basic image part composed of a background image part having line images with different array angles and at least one message image part, both of which part are printed on an optical variation element provided on a base, with at least either transparent or semitransparent ink by a printing method not causing damage or deformation in a diffraction grating. In this body, three patterns, i.e., the optical variation element alone, a negative image of the message image and a positive image of the message image, can be observed according to an angle of observation, and therefore anyone can easily discriminate the authenticity at the site.
