PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door device which facilitates hanging work of a folding door body.;SOLUTION: First an upper traveling body 12 is fitted into an upper guide rail 3 in a movable manner, and lower traveling bodies 61 on a lower bed of a door body 6 of the folding door body 5 are engaged with a lower guide rail 4 in a movable manner. Then a clip body 75 is mounted on the lower traveling body 61 to hold the height of the door body 6 to a constant value. Next the door body 6 is folded to pinch the upper traveling body 12. Further a link shaft portion 17 of the upper traveling body 12 is fitted into an engaging slot 26 formed in a base cup 13, and a slipout preventive protrusion 18 of the upper traveling body 12 is rotatably fitted into a locking member 41 of the base cup 13.
