PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from using a portable telephone free of charge as a substitute for a digital camera. PSOLUTION: This system 1 limits the photographing function of a portable telephone. It comprises a portable telephone 2 having a photographing function for photographing an object, and a computer 3 for giving and canceling photographing function ID information for enabling the photographing function of the portable telephone 2. When an agreement of use is contracted about the photographing function of the portable telephone 2, the computer 3 in the system 1 gives the photographing function ID information to the portable telephone 2.
