PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which is used for erasable ballpoint pens, ensures a sufficient drawn line density, has a sufficient erasing performance, reduces writing failures caused by drying up of the tip of the ballpoint pen, and has excellent writing performances, and to provide the erasable ballpoint pen.;SOLUTION: This ink composition which can be erased with an eraser, is used for ballpoint pens, and comprises at least a solvent, a colorant, and a thermoplastic elastomer is characterized by containing a silicone oil in an amount of 0.1 to 10 wt. % based on the total amount of the ink composition.
