PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy metal-immobilizing treatment agent and a method for an immobilizing treatment of heavy metals in a solid substance using the treatment agent.;SOLUTION: The heavy metal-immobilizing treatment agent comprises a homopiperazinecarbodithioic acid compound bearing a carbodithioic acid group bonded to the nitrogen of homopiperazine represented by structural formula (1) or a salt thereof. The method for the immobilizing treatment of heavy metals comprises adding the heavy metal-immobilizing treatment agent to the solid substance to insolubilize the heavy metals in the solid substance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
