PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a peripheral temperature environment by making clear an influence of heating fluctuation from a z-motor and by making constant a heating value from the z-motor, and to enhance thereby long term measurement reproducibility of an LSAW speed-measured value.;SOLUTION: Heating (iron loss portion in z-motor driving) getting insufficient in z-motor stopping is compensated by increasing an excitation current in the z-motor stopping than that in the z-motor driving, and temperature fluctuation of the z-motor is lowered by making equal the heating values in the z-motor stopping and in the z-motor driving.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
