PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinneret apparatus and a nozzle plate with which the number of islands is increased without combining island component resins mutually and a sea-island type fiber for generating an extra fine fiber having a thinner fiber diameter is spun and a method for producing a sea-island fiber.;SOLUTION: The spinneret apparatus 10 is equipped with an island component resin supply source and a sea component resin supply source (not shown in the figure) for supplying an island component resin A and a sea component resin B to the spinneret 10, respectively and the island component resin A and the sea component resin B from the resin supply sources are supplied from a resin introduction part 11 to a resin distribution plate 12. An upper distribution plate 13 for distributing the island component resin A and a lower distribution plate 14 for receiving the island component resin A from the upper distribution plate 13 are installed on the downstream side of the resin distribution plate 12. A spacer 15 is arranged between the upper distribution plate 13 and the lower distribution plate 14.
