PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a kit for collecting data for predicting risk of recurrence after operation of hepatic carcinoma.;SOLUTION: The method for collecting the data for predicting the risk of the recurrence after the operation of the hepatic carcinoma comprises (1) preparing an RNA from the specimen of the hepatic carcinoma collected from a subject, (2) measuring expressed amounts of at least 20 genes selected from the gene group consisting of the genes of the following GenBank accession numbers contained in the RNA, and (3) obtaining the data for predicting the risk of the recurrence of the hepatic carcinoma from the expressed amount of the gene group: the GenBank accession numbers: NM_001627, AK095284, NM_004883, NM_004360, NM_003617, NM_005345, NM_004938, AI581068, NM_014281, Y00285, AW978041, NM_018206, NM_004640, NM_002273, NM_005514, M15400, NM_021079, NM_002116, NM_006590, NM_000476, NM_001412, NM_024743, X87838, AA610496, AK025651, NM_006471 and the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
