PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method and a measuring device of a color cathode-ray tube which are suitable for measuring the amount of beam landing.;SOLUTION: The measuring method of a color cathode-ray tube comprises a picture-taking means 2 for picturing the fluorescent face 12 in the measurement region from the front side of the panel of a measured cathode-ray tube, a magnetic field generating means 14 for wobbling the electron beam from the front side of the panel of the measured cathode-ray tube to the fluorescent face in the measured region within a range not straddling two colors of phosphor, and an image processing device 3 having a computer for data processing based on the position data measured by the picture-taking means 2. And the both end position of the light-emitting region of one color phosphor layer in each measurement region is measured by the picture-taking means 2 when the electron beam is wobbled in the arrangement direction of the phosphor layer by the magnetic field generating means 14 when the magnetic field by the magnetic field generating means 14 is 0, and based on the data corresponding to each position, the beam landing amount is measured by data-processing by the computer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
