PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply adjust an optical positional relationship between emission light from rutile 4 and a KTP 8, in an optical sampling head.;SOLUTION: A PBS 3 for combining measuring light and sampling light having polarization directions different from each other, and the rutile 4 for polarizing and synthesizing the light from the PBS 3 are installed in a first housing 2 of this optical sampling head 1, and a KTP holder 7 is mounted on the emission side of housing 2. The KTP 8 is mounted, to the KTP holder 7, movably in an optical axis direction by interlaying a position adjustment means 7a. The KTP holder 7 and the housing 2 are connected together by a connection member 20. A contact part 15 formed of a part of a spherical surface of the KTP holder 7 is brought into contact with and welded to an annular part 21 of the connection member 20 by being set in an appropriate attitude. Since the housing 2 and the KTP holder 7 are fixed by defining arbitrary attitudes while being brought into contact with each other in a stable form, the optical positional relationship of the rutile 4 and the KTP 8 can simply be adjusted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
