DIAL FOR MEASURING INSTRUMENT FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial of excellent visibility for a measuring instrument for an automobile, at a low cost and by simple structure.;SOLUTION: A slender frame member 3 extended in a circular arc shape to surround the dial 2 and projected from a surface of the dial 2 is attached in an outer circumference of the dial 2 provided substantially in a semicircular shaped in the measuring instrument M1 for the automobile. A surface of the frame member 3 is plated, a specular face part 30 for forming an inclined face opposed to the dial 2 at a prescribed angle and for reflecting the dial 2 when a driver looks at the measuring instrument is provided in an inner circumference of the frame member 3, and the dial 2 is magnification-displayed by a virtual image of the dial 2 reflected on the specular face part 30 to enhance the visibility for the dial.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
