PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even, e.g., an individual user, to introduce and operate a cybersecurity system without requiring advanced expertise in initializing and operating the system.;SOLUTION: A firewall 3 supervises communication between a user's terminal 2 and its sender according to regulations on a packet passage and virus information, and determines whether a packet can pass through it, and when determining that the packet should be shut off, it disposes of the packet. The firewall 3 sends supervision result information including warning information indicating the detection of the illicit packet to a supervising center 4 via a network 5. When a supervising server 17 in the supervising center 4 receives the supervising result information, it creates and sends a warning mail addressed to the user's terminal 2. The supervising server 17 appropriately changes the regulations on the packet passage as necessary according to the result of an analysis on the supervising result information, and creates and sends change information to the firewall 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
