PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar code or two-dimensional code printing system which easily changes the font and parameter setting, and also provide a bar code or two-dimensional code font setting method and a bar code or two-dimensional code font setting program. PSOLUTION: The bar code or two-dimensional code printing system is provided with a host computer and a printing device connected to the host computer. The host computer is provided with an application program which generates document data, containing bar codes or two-dimensional codes and a printer driver which converts the document data into a command and transmits the command to the printer driver. In addition, the host computer is provided with a common font setting program which sets a common font, by making the bar code font information related to the bar code font or two-dimensional code font information related to the two-dimensional code in the printing device link with the parameter information of the bar code font or with the two-dimensional font.
