OPERATION METHOD OF COKE OVEN USING MOLDED ITEM OF RECOVERED WASTE PLASTIC

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a coke oven using a molded item of recovered waste plastics which permits effective utilization of waste plastics and the manufacture of firm coke. PSOLUTION: In the operation method of the coke oven, a mixture obtained by mixing the recovered waste plastics with fine powder coal is pressurized to form the molded item by the frictional heat, and the molded item is charged into the coke oven 11. In the manufacture of coke, the fine powder coal existing in voids formed by gasification of the waste plastics inhibits free expansion of coal around the voids thereby inhibiting formation of weak coke to permit the manufacture of firm coke.
