PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information service system which makes the ID of an originating terminal secret to the outside of a switching network, provides information at a request from a terminating terminal not restricted to a special number and charges the terminal, and prevents position information from being altered and data from illegally being reused. ;SOLUTION: The originating terminal holds the position information and sends it to a terminating terminal after one-time ciphering and the terminating terminal requests a position center to decipher the ciphered position information and obtains the deciphering result from the position center.
