PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-heat treated steel for hot forging, capable of facilitating the breaking and separation of integrally forged two or more parts into separate parts easily after cooling. ;SOLUTION: This steel has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.30-0.60% C, 0.05-2.00% Si, 0.10-1.00% Mn, 0.03-0.20% P, 0.03-0.50% Cu, 0.03-0.50% N, 0.01-0.50% Cr, 0.05-0.50% V, 0.010-0.045% s-Al, 0.005-0.025% N, and the balance Fe with impurities and containing, if necessary, one or ≥2 kinds selected from ≤0.30% Pb, ≤0.20% S, ≤0.30% Te, ≤0.01% Ca, and ≤0.30% Bi.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
