PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network apparatus and data transfer method in a mobile ad hoc network, for efficiently transferring AV data with restricted resources, by periodically sensing a dynamically varied state by including the information related to a MANET (mobile ad hoc network) state in routing information, without defining another packet format, and using the sensed state variation information. PSOLUTION: In the mobile ad hoc network environment, the network apparatus includes an encoder for receiving a multimedia signal and encoding the signal, based on predetermined network information; a database section for preserving the predetermined network information; a network interface section for transmitting the encoded multimedia signal; and a control section for preserving the predetermined network information received from the network information section in the database section, and controlling the encoder, to perform encoding operation based on the received predetermined network information.
