PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographed image retrieval device by which a desired image can easily be retrieved and extracted at high speed among a huge amount of photographed images and the desired image can be displayed by diversified display methods, and to provide an electronic camera apparatus and a photographed image retrieval method. PSOLUTION: The photographed image retrieval device that retrieves image information satisfying a prescribed condition among a plurality of image information sets is provided with an image information acquisition means 1 that acquires image information, a positioning means 2 that measures each acquired position of image information as position information, a storage means 4 that correlates the position information with image information and stores the position information, a condition acquisition means 5 that acquires a retrieval condition to retrieve image information, an arithmetic means 6 that calculates a specific amount between acquired positions of the image information on the basis of the position information, and a retrieval means 7 that retrieves image information satisfying a prescribed retrieval condition among image information sets stored in the storage means 4.
