The present invention relates to a plasmid vector for site-specific integration into methylotrophic yeast of heterologous DNA sequences in multiple copies. The process for the expression of recombinant proteins based are derived from transformation with a vector of the present invention, the use of microorganisms and vectors of the present invention, are described.
