PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure a flow rate of leaking groundwater containing seawater. ;SOLUTION: Assuming that a flow rate of seawater is constant though that of groundwater fluctuates in leaking water, a relationship between the measured value of a leaking water flow rate and the measured value of sodium ion concentration in the leaking water is represented by a linear function. When the sodium ton concentration measured value is substituted into the linear function, a leaking water flow rate is found.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
