OFDM DEMODULATOR FOR REMOVING COMMON PHASE ERROR OF OFDM SIGNAL SYMBOLS, AND CPE REMOVING METHOD THEREOF

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM demodulator for removing common phase errors (CPE) of OFDM signal symbols, and to provide its CPE correcting method. PSOLUTION: The OFDM demodulator includes a CP location memory for storing locations of reordered CP values in output values reordered after FFT calculation of an OFDM signal, and a switch for transmitting an output shuffle memory value for each reordered CP location to the CP memory, in response to the output address of the CP location memory. The output shuffle memory value, for each reordered CP location of a current OFDM signal symbol transported via the switch, is multiplied with the output shuffle memory value for each reordered CP location of the previous OFDM signal symbol stored in the CP memory, average phase values of all the OFDM signal symbols are detected and accumulated, and an FFT-calculated output for only for the cumulative phase value is inverted, thereby removing the CPE of the OFDM signal symbols.
