In order to reduce the constructive complexity of the adjustable drive for both sets of drawing equipment on a two-sided ring spinning machine, the controlling motor (10') of a drawing roller (4) on one side of the ring spinning machine is used as the controlling motor for at least one motor (10) of a corresponding drawing roller (4') on the other side of the ring spinning machine and both above-mentioned drawing rollers are connected to each other in a positive fit by means of at least one mechanical gear (11) mechanism.
