PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary bridge pier unit which enables a temporary pier to be constructed in an extremely short period of time, and a method for constructing a temporary bridge pier by using the unit.;SOLUTION: A plurality of tubular bodies 11, a frame 12 and a receiving bag 13 are included as a unit in the temporary bridge pier unit 1. The unit 1 is constructed by installing the unit 1 in an installation place after the temporarily constructed unit 1 is transported to the target installation place by a carrier ship. The unit 1 is installed by bringing the plurality of tubular bodies 11 into contact with the bottom of a river, stabilizing each of the tubular bodies 11 via the receiving bag 13, and fixing each of the tubular body 11 and the frame 12 together after that.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
