PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method for the division type box culvert offering easy and safe assembly and jointing jigs for the tension members for the assembly.;SOLUTION: A box culvert is formed by dividing it to two portions; a lower half body 2 having upward side walls 2b and 2b above both the sides of a bottom slab 2a, and an upper half body 3 having downward side walls 3b and 3b below both the sides of the top slabs 3a; a PC tension member 8 at the upper half body side is inserted in advance to a PC tension member insertion hole 7 of the upper half body, its upper end is suspended through a tension member jig 13 near an opening portion of the upper end of the PC tension member, in this state, the upper half body 3 is moved to the top of the lower half body 2, a working space 21 for PC tension member jointing work is installed with the space 21 opened by interposing spacers, jointing work for PC tension member at the upper and lower halves side is performed in the work space 21 for jointing PC tension members, thereafter, wall gap at each side of the upper and lower halves sides is jointed, and the upper and lower halves 2 and 3 are united together by tensioning and anchoring the upper ends of the PC tension member 8 at the upper halves side on the upper half body thereby uniting the upper and lower halves 2 and 3 into one united body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
