Breakwater structure using pile foundation

PURPOSE: A floating breakwater using a pile foundation is provided to effectively protect a harbor or vessels against waves and promote seawater circulation to improve the quality of seawater. CONSTITUTION: The floating breakwater using a pile foundation is composed of: pile foundations(50) placed at a certain depth in the sea; pre-cast columns(20) installed on to the pile foundation to become a single structure; pre-cast boxes(10) placed on to the unified single structure and whose half submerges in the water; anchors(70) fixing the pre-cast box to the bottom of the sea by captive members(60). To increase an adhesive force by submarine concrete, reinforcing bars are installed inside the pre-cast columns and the pipe foundations, the submarine concrete is placed by a placing pipe.
