PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating a delay time of data transmission only with a control apparatus wherein particular processing and a network analyzer at a receiver side are not required.;SOLUTION: The method includes: a first step ST1 for a processing 1 wherein the control apparatus calculates a required time T1 (=B-A) from a data transmission processing start time A and a transmission preparation end time B; a step ST2 for a processing 2 wherein the control apparatus calculates a required time T2 (=C-B') from a transmission preparation end time B' for transmission of a packet whose transmission time is designated and a time C when the packet is transmitted to a transmission path; and steps (ST31 to ST33) for a processing 3 wherein the processing 2 is performed for a plurality of number of times while changing the designation of the transmission time, and a data transmission delay time T (=T1+T2) is calculated from a minimum time T2 among the required times T2 obtained as the result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
