Bulk loading for water-in-oil emulsion explosive composition

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsion explosive composition for bulk charge, enabling to reduce the change of viscosity in response to the change of temperature, also reduce the change of the viscosity in response to the change of specific gravity and improve flowability and workability. ;SOLUTION: This explosive composition comprises the aqueous solution of an oxidizer, an oil, an emulsifier and fine hollow spheres. The fine hollow spheres comprise organic hollow spheres formed from an acrylonitrile-vinylidene chloride copolymer resin, polystyrene resin or the like, and has an average particle diameter of 20-1,500 μm. The fine hollow spheres preferably comprise mono-cells or multi-cells formed from thin films. The oil preferably has a dynamic viscosity of 2-350 cSt at 40°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
