PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of the whole impeller and reduce load applied to a rotary shaft of a motor so as to improve the rotating speed of an electric blower by forming an impeller fitted and fixed to the rotary shaft of the motor, of a magnesium alloy. ;SOLUTION: The upper face of an impeller in an electric blower disposed in a vacuum cleaner is provided with a front plate 101 with a suction port 801, and a rear plate 102 opposedly provided below the front plate 101. Blades 103 are disposed in such a way as to be held between the front plate 101 and rear plate 102, and the front plate 101 and the blades 103 are integrally formed. The front plate 101 and blades 103 are formed of a magnesium alloy, while the rear plate 102 is formed of an Al-Mg group aluminium alloy. The blades 103 and a blazing metal layer formed at the rear plate 102 are jointed by blazing so as to integrate the blades 103 with the rear plate 102.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
