PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning strike protection simulation system for setting lightning equipment and a lightning strike protection range based on a rotary spherical method by using CAD-integrated drawings, and for clarifying the lightning equipment and lightning strike protection range of the whole building based on the rotary spherical method.;SOLUTION: A perspective view constituted by 3D-integrating building graphics where a building equipped with lightning facilities is plotted as drawing data is prepared with CAD-integrated drawings, and arc being one part of a rotary sphere with a predetermined spherical radius is applied to a desired position in the 3D-integrated building graphics so that it is possible to perform the simulation of the lightning equipment and lightning strike protection range of the building based on the rotary spherical method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
