PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain case fixing structure for an assisted motor bicycle provided with an electric motor which can fix a chain case purely easily by a simple structure and reduce the number of parts and working processes. ;SOLUTION: In an assisted motor bicycle, an inside bent part 28a is formed by bending inside at least part of the periphery of the front part 28A of a chain case 28 and a plurality of inserting parts 29 to 31 are formed on the end surface of a cover 18. Then front part 28A of the chain case 28 is inserted into the grooves made in the inserting parts 29 to 31 of the cover 18 and is fixed thereto and the rear end part of the chain case 28 is fixed to a stay fixed to a chain stay (body frame) by a screw. Since the front part 28A of the chain case 28 is fixed to the cover 18 by the inserting structure, parts like the stay, screw or the like are reduced in number, and processes like the welding of the stay and the screwing work of the chain case are reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
