PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for directly laying, vertically laying and fastening an exterior wall panel, which can secure an adequate ventilation layer between the exterior wall panel and a building frame, and can greatly enhance strength for fastening the exterior wall panel, in spite of a construction method for directly laying and vertically laying the exterior wall panel, in which a fastening fitting is directly mounted on a column and a stud without the use of horizontal furring strips.;SOLUTION: This structure for vertically laying the exterior wall panel is constituted by locking tongue parts 10a and 10B which is formed on an end face of the exterior wall panel by using the fastening fitting 20 which is composed of: a flat plate-shaped base plate 21 which is made to abut on the side of the building frame; upside and downside spacer parts 22 and 23 which are elongated forward from upper and lower ends of the base plate 21, respectively, so as to support the backside of the exterior wall panel; and locking parts 24 and 25 which are locked to right and left side parts of the exterior wall panel by being elongated from the base plate 21 and protruded further forward with respect to upper and lower spacer parts 22 and 23.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
