PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an effective utilization of heat discharged through cooling water or discharged gas outputted from an engine at an absorption cold water or hot water device. SOLUTION: This method is carried out such that hot temperature water 78 heat exchanged with cooling water of an engine 60 is fed into a solution heating means 70, heat is exchanged with solution in an absorption cold water or hot water device 81, further discharged gas 98 of the engine is fed into an auxiliary solution heating means 99 so as to perform a heat exchanging operation with the solution. When an operation aiming at an energy saving of the absorption cold water or hot water device is being carried out, the discharged gas is utilized as a first heat source. In the case that the heating calorie is not enough, the high temperature water is used, and in the case that the heating calorie is further lack, heat is inputted from a burner 25 to a high temperature regenerator.
