PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image presenting apparatus, a video presenting method, and a program, capable of directly revising the settings of user's preference without interrupting the viewing of a video image by a user.;SOLUTION: The video presenting apparatus for presenting a video image object together with a video image includes: a storage means for storing user preference consisting of preference items; a display method determining means for determining the method of displaying the video object by collating a data item with the preference items; a presentation control means for controlling the presentation of the video object according to the display method; a video object selection means for detecting and selecting a selection instruction given by a user to the presented video object during presentation of the video image; and a preference revision means for using the data items of the selected video object to reference the user preference, thereby revising the corresponding preference item so as to change the display method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
