PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the reading and writing of information to and from an external storage device by informing a 2nd information processor that access can not be gained when a 1st information processor is accessing an external storage device and connecting the 2nd information processor to the external storage device unless the storage device is accessed. ;SOLUTION: When a reading and writing controller 109 recognizes an access request from a system management device 402 as the 2nd information processor to the external storage device 104, it is recognized whether or not a central controller 101 as the 1st information processor is accessing the external storage device 104. Then when the central controller 101 is accessing the external storage device 104, it is informed that the system management device 402 can not gain access and when not, the central controller 101 and external storage device 104 are disconnected and the system management device 402 and external storage device 104 are connected.
