The image NRD guide - the microstrip line converter and the image NRD guide circuit

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an image NRD guide and a micro strip line with respect to the image NRD guide and the micro strip line used in a millimetric wave band and a microwave band. ;SOLUTION: An image NRD guide 1 and a micro strip line 4 are so arranged that the contact surface between a ground conductor plate 2c constituting the image NRD guide 1 and a dielectric strip 3 and that between a ground plate 7 constituting the micro strip line 4 and a dielectric substrate 6 may be the same face and a center conductor 5 of the micro strip line 4 may be placed in the center in the breadthwise direction of the dielectric strip 3 constituting the image NRD guide 1. By this structure, an electromagnetic wave in the LSM01 mode transmitted in the image NRD guide 1 and that in the TEM mode transmitted in the micro strip line 4 can be converted without eliminating the ground plate 7 in the terminal part of the micro strip line 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
